This is is the first post of my new blog. I have (I think) done away with all other blogs and I feel like a new person. This blog is intended to be dedicated to chronicling my experiences as a mom, wife and person in the world. I feel like I've had so many interesting experiences that don't fit into any one parenting category...

Our early experiences with breastfeeding, co-sleeping, babywearing, bottle/formula feeding, crying, babyfood making... well... they're gone but still impacting my daily perspective. Our newest battles with child-care, television, plastic toys, wooden toys, dolls, balls, meats, pasta, shoes and all the other crazy things that come with having a toddler can be contemplated here. And someday maybe I'll be a famous mommy blogger and inspire millions. In the meantime, at least I have a neat blog name. Applesauce Cake. Pretty. Natural. Delicious. All the things I'd like to be.
